Welcome to the City Sewers!
This product consists of a group of virtual battlemat files that are designed to serve as game aids for a fantasy RPG campaign. These battlemats are functionally system-neutral, but they were definitely designed with D&D and Pathfinder RPG systems in mind.
The files listed below are designed to be used as a battlemat for D&D or pathfinder. They are similar to other battlemats found on Dunjini and Roll20, but instead of using their proprietary software, I simply used PowerPoint. The advantage of this is that I have included several animations on each slide. These include fog of war as well as several other fun cool animations that work for a wide variety of typical plotlines.
The goal of this product is to provide the DM with a setting that he can use for pretty much any time his campaign needs a decent sewer. It includes a large number of basements as well as weird adventure sites.
Each of these PowerPoint presentations is designed to work on a virtual table-top. The maps themselves are 19” x 33.” This means on the proper size monitor, the maps will be scaled to 1” per square. If your monitor is larger or smaller the squares will scale with the size of the monitor. The simplest way to use this product is to simply lay a flat-screen TV on its back and cover it with a piece of plexi-glass. Hook your computer up and off you go!
The three PowerPoint files contained in this product all contain the same battlemat maps. The differences between the three is in the degree of Fog of War (FoW) that each has to offer: Sewer Full FoW: This presentation covers the entire battle mat with animations that hide the graphics from the party until the party enters an area. I strongly encourage you to practice with the buttons on each screen, so that you know what each screen is capable off (you don’t want to hit the wrong button and spoil the surprise!).
Sewer Partial FoW: This presentation covers only the secret or hard-to-get-at areas of the map with fog of war. This offers a nice balance between secrecy and convenience.
Sewer no FoW: This presentation has no fog of war at all. Note that the special effects and secret door buttons still function normally.
