| #1JimjamsAug 09, 2015 8:36:30 | Hi guys and gals, I'm currently running my group through the Grand Conjunction series of adventures in a Ravenloft 5e conversion, and would like to know a few things as they are unclear in the modules. -Where are each of the lands in relation to each other in the series? -Do the natives of Ravenloft know it's "Ravenloft" or do they beleive they are just self contained communities? -Who in the realms would know about the lords and the dark powers in order to help the PC's out?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Hi guys and gals, I'm currently running my group through the Grand Conjunction series of adventures and would like to know a few things as they are unclear in the modules. -Where are each of the lands in relation to each other in the series? -Do the natives of Ravenloft know it's "Ravenloft" or do they beleive they are just self contained communities? -Who in the realms would know about the lords and the dark powers in order to help the PC's out?

Trying to pull together an event like the Conjunction without knowing how the territories work is an invitation for confusion and frustration . |

I've been telling my group about past sessions with 2nd ed Ravenloft and they all want to try it according to 5E rules. If you have a means of conversion or possibly files save with the conversion, would you be willing to post or message me with the information? Thanks ahead of time either way. |

I have done Night of the walking dead and Touch of Death, these have gone down very well with my players. Just about to start Feast of Goblyns. My advice to conversions is don't ait on somebody else to do it, you can do it yourself. The story of the adventure won't change only the mechanics and simply just "swap them out" for 5e rules and you have a pretty solid framework. Monsters may need a little more work but it's not hard. If you want any further advice help just ask. |

Traps, poisons, NPC classes and levels, detecting secret doors and footprints, appropriate levels of gold, and a host of other details required modification. |
