My group is running through the LMoP right now, and we're planning on doing HotDQ next. For LMoP we're using printed artists' maps, but I've checked the maps for HotDQ, and they don't seem to be as suitable for map-style play, meaning I'm going to have to make my own maps. Our old DM would draw them out, but I'm not very artistic, so I want to make them on the computer. My problem is, that I haven't been able to find any decent, easy to use software to do it. What would you all recommended to me?

There was just a thread on this subject:  http://community.wizards.com/forum/product-and-general-dd-discussions/threads/4178021

dundjinni is a useful tool, though these days I basically make all of my maps directly in maptool (a free open source virtual table top).  You can see some examples of some of the maps I made with it in the above thread at the bottom of page 1 and the top of page 2 (along with maps other posters made with different programs).
