#1 AlHazred Dec 18, 2014 13:11:39	So, I was very unhappy with the Tyranny of Dragons DM Screen put out by GaleForce 9. I don't need character art on the inside, the maps are too small, and for a "Tyranny of Dragons" DM screen, presumably made to support all modules in the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, it really only supports Hoard of the Dragon Queen. That said, I'm making my own. I ordered a 4-panel landscape version of The World's Greatest Screen, and am planning my inserts. EN World has a large number of fan-made inserts that cover what I want on the inside (Encounter Building info, rules for Concentration, Exhaustion, Travel, etc.) What I want guidance on is, what art should I put on the player-facing side? I was thinking of Dave Trampier's classic DM screen art (which can be seen in this post on Chris Pramas' website). This has the added nostalgia of being what amounts to a DAT self-portrait in the guy with the sword on the right. What else? What do people think were the pre-eminent or fan-favorite examples of D&D art?
#2 CCS Dec 18, 2014 14:36:34	I'd use the art from the 1e PHB cover - the orange demon statue with the thieves prying out its eyes - on one of the panels.
