Does anyone know of a tool or process that allows easy convertion/creating of previous edition monsters to 5e rules?

Jun 17, 2015 14:13:45 None that I know of. I just recreate the creature using the rules for monster creation in the DMG.

DMG creature creation guidelines. Shoot for the cr you want, which could be the same CR as 3E. For 4E conversions, which is my next project, I'd use level as cr for solos, but I'd shoot for lower levels for elites and normals.
