Draconians

I always loved the flavor of the draconians from Dragonlance. I would love to add them in as a Monster race (especially with the HoDQ stuff)  Has anyone done this yet or should i just go through and try to create the creatures myself?

 

If so does anyone remember what each one was called or did when it died?

 

I know there was the one who turned to stone. one who turned to acid and one who exploded. Any others ?

I recall reading in the DMG or PHB that the Draconians were the DL version of Dragonborn but with different magical abilities instead of a breath weapon. Not sure if I would go with that interpretation myself though. Notes below were taken from 2nd edition.

 

All Draconians had base magic resistance of 20% with the Aurak having 30%.

 

Aurak (gold) has too many abilities to list, it has incredible senses, resistance to magic, spells of an 8th level wizard, mind control, shapeshifting, and when it dies it doesn't, instead it becomes more powerful for a few rounds as the magical energy within it's body escapes and starts to consume it.

 

Baaz (brass) were the foot soldiers. They had wings that they could use to glide. They had a chance to ensnare a peircing or slashing weapon in their bodies when they died for 1d4 rounds as they turned to stone (dex save to prevent it).

 

Bozak (bronze) had a +2 bonus to saves, cast spells as a 4th level wizard and when they died their flesh turned to dust and their bones exploded dealing damage in a 10 foot radius. They had wings that they could use to fly.

 

Kapak (copper) were assassins. They had a venomous bite and could coat their weapons in their poisonous saliva which could paralyse. They had wings that they could use to glide. They dissolved into a puddle of acid when they died.

 

Sivak (silver) were the brutes of the Draconians. They had +2 to all saves. They had wings that allowed them to fly and were the strongest of the Draconians. They could take the shape of a humanoid  they had just killed. When they died they turned into their slayer, bursting into flame a few days later. If the slayer wasn't humanoid or was too big then they exploded into flame.
