| #1piersbOct 22, 2014 4:52:00 | Just about to start a new 5e home game, and I'd like to use something like Greg Bilsland's Fun Points to encourage players to edit the wiki, bring food, buy a PHB, etc.
Wondering if anyone's adapted the table for 5e yet? Or if anyone else is using a similar idea in their game?

| #2AnsbachOct 22, 2014 19:20:29 | Never seen it, and with a quick glance looks way too silly and random for my tastes - so obviously I am not the target audience.
However, I do plan on allowing players to accumulate multiple "Inspiration Points" with a variety of uses, as discussed in some of the other threads floating around here. |
| #3DreamstryderOct 22, 2014 23:07:23 | I guess in my DMed games I tend to allow players to try entertaining things with no undue penalty, and I think the inspiration rules can be used to fill this niche in 5e; just allow other players to give inspiration twice per session to their peers (they can't give it to themselves). If your players get a feel for it, you needn't limit it to twice. |
