| #1ShenthingApr 19, 2015 12:01:55 | o, I'm looking to create an Npc for a 5e campaign, working on a specific character today, and realized some key classes need to be retooled. The character I'm working on now is based on the constellation Orion. He will be an artifact hunter, gestalt, and I'm working with the ranger & rogue templates. The 5e classes presented in the PHB don't quite fit the bill as far as flavor, so I'm reaching out. Thinking a half elf sharpshooter/relic hunter of sorts. Primary stats will be Int, Cha, & Dex. Looking at half-elf on race. I'm thinking it needs some flavor along the lines of the Dungeon Delver & some kind of Planar Ranger mix. This is an Npc, so while I would like some combat skills, the emphasis here is on flavor. P.S. I'm also looking for help with things like Artificer, warmage, pirate and psion. |

| (Reply to #4)Shenthing | Pretty much just "best of both worlds". Haven't decided if we're going to work with any PrEs, but I have been pooling some info from the old ones to develop the cast, setting & major story arc. As far as the character goes, I like the concept of the Chinese version of Orion, Shen, and a Fu Dog companion. There will be a lot of planes-hopping in the backstory and the developing campaigns, so I would like to incorporate that into the character as well. |
