| #1TheBigBZOct 10, 2014 0:59:39 | In the second module my players explored the camp, learned a lot of things and then set a lot of it on fire and escaped. They tried to rescue the Monk but he didn't want to be rescued so they left him. I'm struggling a little bit to think if a good reason for them to return to the camp for Ep 3... Any ideas? |

You could also have one of the other monks rise to the occasion and take the place of his master after he is fallen and proceed with the adventure as planned. Or they could plead with the party to go back to try and rescue him again.
Payback on Cyanwrath?
Or maybe they just return to see how much damage their fires did and to harass them some more (Gov. Nighthill could send them back for this even) , only to find it abandoned. |

It makes no sense, I know, but that's how they wrote it. He then tasks the players with going back. If you don't want to follow that extremely illogical plot-line, then it makes perfect sense for Gov. Nighthill to task them with going back for more information. |

Once they see the camp is mostly abandoned they’ll probably decide to go down there on their own to admire their handy work. If you need to dangle a carrot give them some tells, such as:
