I didn't know where else to put this so figured I'd use a title tag and maybe start a trend. Anyway, here's a feat I thought up and wanted to get some feedback on.

Daggermaster

Prerequisite: Dexterity 14.

You are so skilled and dedicated to the mastery of small blades that you exceed the normal limitations of such weaponry.

  • You increase the base damage of daggers you wield to 1d6.
  • You increase the range increments to 30/120.
  • You can draw a dagger in either hand as a single action rather than as two separate actions.
  • When wielding a dagger in both hands you gain a +1 bonus to AC.

I really like this. It looks like it follows the formula of the feats from the playtest, so I think it should work out well until the PHB drops. Then you can reformat it if needed, in the event there isn't an official varient. Now if only I could slap it on my level 1 Tiefling Rogue.

On a slightly related note, perhaps this would be best in the Player Help section? It's where I put my thread about the Noble Background since the purpose of that board is to help players create characters and such.

I would raise the dexterity requirement to 15. The odd ability scores seem to be the best place for these sort of things.
