They decided that they would be triplets and there is a prophecy concerning triplet half-orcs becoming the great saviors or something like that. I don't have the full details yet, but it is something along those lines. The other two players are both playing elves. What I want to set up is a prophecy that could be interpreted as the half-orcs being saviors, but if you dig deeper, not necessarily saviors for the human society that they live in. So, the elves are sending the other two players to befriend the triplets to try to get them to work for the elves. Anyone want to take a shot at a good prophecy? Thanks. |

Once he is overthrown the demon will be able to control all of orckind. The triplets are named "descendants" or "sons of Gruumsh" and are capable of stopping the demon's plans because their mixed blood gives them a partial resistance to his influence. One that their full-blooded brethren don't have. A unified and bloodthirsty orc race would be a devastatingly powerful weapon in the demon's hands so Elves would definitely want to help out and keep them independent.
I'll have a go at writing something vague enough that it has room to move. Also, for some reason I like the rhythm of haiku when writing mystical stuff.
"Three sons will be born, In the light of the red star, Three beacons of strength.
When all others fall, We shall call them sons of Gruumsh, For he will guide them.
When the star returns, When our hearts plot to leave us, They will bring us back." - Old Orc Prophecy
And yeah, this is totally inspired by the Warcraft lore... :P |

When they touched the needle to the painting that they found the thread wound it's way through the painting and spelled out the prophecy. |
