I just noticed the updated rules state 2 shorts per day is the general assumption (pg 57). I'm not sure if I missed that update previously and doubt I'll change from how I run it now, but it is nice to see the expected number of rests.
Agreed. It kind of makes sense too. I have no problems with players abusing short rest. Some days they take 1 rest, some days 2 or even 3. The pace of the game, difficulty of adventure and other story elements have been enough to make it all work for me.
