I am looking for a good webservice where I can place campaign info for my players to view and download. I used to use yahoo groups, but I would rather have something where I create actual webpages with images and download links. I remember seeing a couple services specifically for creating RPG campaign worlds, though I don't recall their names. Any good recommends?

I use Google Docs.  You can give players access to specific files and folders, and can even set it to read only or give them edit permissions.  I give access to rules, house rules and world info, but keep DM info in a different folder that they don't have access to.  With Google Docs you can make docs, spread sheets, or presentations.  Any of the pages can be downloaded if they want.  Simple to use, as well.

Obsidian portal is awesome.  I loved messing around with my campaign, but there are to many features locked up behind a paywall.  It's worth it, but if you have the skill or time, you could also use google.com/sites.  If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, go with obsidian portal.

I use Epic Words myself. http://epicwords.com/

I liked Obsidian Portal until they put some more of the free stuff behind the paywall and changed the format to something I find eye-bleeding.

I don't think it's quite ready yet for the Player Portal but thought you might be interested in taking a look.

You can use roll20 for this.  Typically it is used for online play, but there is a section for handouts and the like, and you could use that.  You can even pass out handouts to only a subset of your players

These are great recommendations you all! Thanks much to everyone. I am in the process of checking them out. One other site that someone recommended to me was pbworks. I know nothing about it yet.

After watching this thread for a few days, I set up a campaign on Obsidian Portal. A few facets of the setup maybe could have been *slightly* more intuitive, but then proved easy enough to use.

I just need a portal platform with an enchantment allowing me to summon more players.
