Has anyonelse noticed that the Spider Staff and the Staff of Defence from the starter set are not in the DMG?

But they are in the starter set in the adventure book. Maybe they are adventure specific, and that's why they are listed there and not the DMG?

Neither is Hazirawn, the chromatic Dragon Masks, or the Insignia of Claws from HotDQ. Seems to me like they are specific to those published adventures.
