Monster Statistics by Challenge Rating

Has any one tried to use the Monster Statistics by Challenge Ratings

 

I made a Excel Spreadsheet with vlookups and other functions but the calcutations are not matching up when I compare goblins, Orc, Ogres, Half Ogres etc.. 

 

also my 3rd level Halfling, 1st Rogue, 1st Fighter (+2 archer), 1st wizard, Dx 18, AC 17 with Mage Armor, +8 with Bow d6 +4 +d6 sneak attack, HPS 27,

+6 with Short Sword/Dagger d6+4 and d4, d6 sneak attack

CR 5?

 

How do I calcuate the Damage over 3 rounds to find the average?

How do I use the Hps to find the CR, MAX HPs for the creature or existing HPs
