#1 Khyron Dec 31, 2014 12:49:00	Is there any easy way to tell what the classes are?  In all the published materials, I have to guess.  Am I just missing it or was it a purposeful style change?
#2 Ath-kethin Dec 31, 2014 16:06:04	Monsters and NPCs in 5e don't follow the same rules as PCs do. So you aren't missing anything; what you are looking for doesn't exist. The DMG has some guideline for adding class levels to monsters, but with a very few exceptions (such as the "illithid arcanist" variant in the MM), but in general published NPCs and monsters do jot have class levels. In cases where they do (such as with the mage and priest in the MM), the text specifically calls it out.
