| #1ManicMonkeyMay 10, 2015 23:44:06 | New DM here. I want to run my game with the feel of Darkest Dungeon on steam. I know there was a table in 3rd ed that had you roll a san check based on stuff you ran into. But can't find please help. Plus any input on how to make it run like Darkest Thanks |

Something I did with my players for a more Darkest Dungeon feel is have a similar check they make based on their mental scores, but it plays more like a meter where it can go up and down, more like in Darkest Dungeon. They can restore their meter by taking certain actions, but while it's empty they suffer a consequence. How horrible the consequence is depends on you, but if it's going to be very heavy then you may want to give the players something to balance things out. Or not, if you want to reatchet the difficulty. |
