#1 cassi_brazuca Sep 30, 2014 17:28:07	Well, for the people that have the launched books and know more about this edition than me, I ask: What will become Nerath Setting? It’s get quoted in the books like other settings? People told me that many references to past settings were made, but what about Nerath? What was said about cosmologies? What about the possibility of a World Axis cosmology? I know it may seems too much, but I need to know this before I can get into the new edition.
#2 Kronovan Oct 12, 2014 8:32:15	I'm currently playing in a 4e campaign set in Nerath, own all of the 5e books released to date and have read the Abyssal Plague trilogy of novels which does reference some of the deities of Nerath, so I'll try to help with some answers. The assumption with Nerath is that it's set on one of the default worlds of what's unofficially known as "the Known D&D Worlds". So in terms of cosmology it's supposed to be on a world on the Material Plane just as the Forgotten Realm's Abeir-Toril is and Greyhawk's Oreth is. With that in mind, any of the gods/deities in the 4e core books or the FR or Greyhawk setting books are applicable.   What the 5e Players Handbook contains is deity listings for FR and Greyhawk, which could be used for any campaign set in Nerath. It also includes the deity listings for Dragonlance and Eberron, but I'm not familiar enough with those settings to know if they're supposed to share the same material plane. The 5e PHB also contains an appendix on the Planes of Existence and the info in it would be shared between Nerath's world, FR and Greyhawk.
