#1 gmanjkd Aug 30, 2014 9:48:08	Hello all. Ive been running games for close to 30 years but am completely new to the Forgotten Realms. The Shadowfell box set for 4e is very intriguing. Would i find this box set's info useful for 5e or will it be totally out of date due to the sundering? Please offer any advice. Please keep in mind that due to mi ignorance of FR i may not be asking the correct questions about the manner in which the product fluf is or is not compatible with 5e. Thanks all

#3 gmanjkd Aug 30, 2014 10:36:52	Thanks for the reply. Im confused now...a lot. The Shadowfell is mentioned repeatedly in the Sundering novels. Where is the Shadowfell located then? Ebberon?
#4 Xaielao2 Aug 30, 2014 11:00:34	The Shadowfell is the dark mirror of the material world (say, forgotten realms or any campaign setting). It's a plane of darkness and dispair and accessable from the mortal world in varous ways. The other 'mirror plane' is the Feywild, the verdant forest world of the Eladrin and other fey-origin creatures. There are tuns of other planes in the back of the Players Handbook but it's generally accepted that different settings will have their own cosmology.    Until a 5e Forgottem Realms Campaign Setting is released (and I heard they are not working on one atm) I'd recommend picking up the 4th edition one and adapting the events of the Sundering novels.

#7 Atheosis Aug 30, 2014 16:19:52	I believe the Shadowfell is pretty much the same as in 4E so yes, with some conversion, all that material should fit 5E FR.
