No giant spider in the Monster Manual?

I'm setting up a short adventure for my nephew's first time playing D&D. I went to set up a giant spider encounter, but to my disbelief giant spiders appear to be absent from the Monster Manual.

Does anyone have a good homebrew giant spider, and/or spider swarm?

I’m just glad there’s no longer a giant full-page illustration of one like in the 1e MM. I still get squicked out by it.
