My current concept is to follow the general guidance of the 3.5 spell of shadow conjuration.
Still a rough concept so I would like some guidelines on how to properly balance it. If I should add spell slot scaling to it and how. What spells should be and shouldn't be able to be mimiced. If it should be out in the world or only found in hidden places, forgotten (as I plan to). So if you can give any feed back I would be grateful.
Ps: The reason I ask is because one of my players is loving illusions and asked "What happens if they fail their will save when hit by an illusionary weapon?" so I feel that he may enjoy finding a scroll of a lost spell to more or less harm with illusions. |
