| #1XallinJul 15, 2015 9:29:48 | Hi all, I'm working on getting a game up and running, and am looking for a good starting level prewritten\published adventure for 5e. I'm currently a player in Hoard of the Dragon Queen as well as the Starter Box game, and don't really wanna run those games as well, as I don't wanna ruin those games story sttuff for myself. So I'm looking for alternatives. I've heard the New Elemental evil adventure is good but a bit daugnting for a new DM like myself, so I don't really wanna mess with it. So what do you all have for suggestions? I was hopeing to find a sunless ciitadel converstion, that was complete but haven't had much luck. I'm open to ideas. Thanks all!

I'm currently running a group through the Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle...alternately, you could run Dreams of the Red Wizards, since the story lines are aligned...both of these will take characters from 1st to 10th level. |

Goodman Games has a couple of nice, slim starting level adventures:

But I think the best solution may be to run LMoP from the starter set. If you don't want to 'ruin' it for yourself, just don't read the whole thing at once. Just read the beginning parts.
