Here are my thoughts for some low level prayer beads: one for clerics, one for druids, and one for paladins.

Prayer Beads of the Faithful

This string of prayer beads contains four brilliant silver beads etched with holy symbols of your faith (will magically alter with each new owner). Each bead allows you to cast any one of the following spells without expending a spell slot (may only be cast at 1st level if spell is able to be cast at higher levels): Bless, Cure Wounds, Healing Word, or Sanctuary. Once the bead is used the silver tarnishes and it cannot be used again until it recharges following a long rest.

Prayer Beads of the Wild

This string of prayer beads contains four jade beads etched with holy symbols of your faith (will magically alter with each new owner). Each bead allows you to cast any one of the following spells without expending a spell slot (may only be cast at 1st level if spell is able to be cast at higher levels): Animal Friendship, Entangle, Goodberry, or Speak with Animals. Once the bead is used it turns milky white and it cannot be used again until it recharges following a long rest.

Prayer Beads of the Righteous

This string of prayer beads contains four red jasper beads etched with holy symbols of your faith (will magically alter with each new owner). Each bead allows you to cast any one of the following spells without expending a spell slot (may only be cast at 1st level if spell is able to be cast at higher levels): Heroism, Searing Smite, Thunderous Smite, and Wrathful Smite. Once the bead is used it turns muddy brown and it cannot be used again until it recharges following a long rest.

I'd rather make them a holy symbol

I like them and find them to be a rather interesting idea. Seems like they would make nice additions to my campaign's magical items list.
