Hello there

if you want to be a player for RoT then pls stop reading ^^

ok my question: you have the scorechart and a final battle asset

and every faction can dispell an evil faction

what happens then? The evil faction gets bashed?

What happens if you dont have enough supporting factions and an evil faction is without counterpart?

Whats the plan and action of this evil faction

i found this http://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/55070/rise-of-tiamat-final-battle-major-spoilers

but no solution/idea about to handle a missing faction support ^^

Another question that does not seem to be addressed in Rise of Tiamat:

If you persuade the Dragon Moot to aid you, how do you decide where to allocate them for defense?  How many do you get?

yes, to determine this faction help is a big task for the DM and the players, but whats the consequences?

if you cant block the chromatic dragons? what will they do? kick the skyreach castle? defend their mother?

I am currently DM'ing Hoard and plan on running Rise afterwards, so the answer to these questions interests me as well.

I'm only a third of the way through the module but I plan on running the dragon well like a dungeon in wow.

The players will fight a battle with each of the good factions, drop some witty banter, then move on to the next encounter. If there’s a conflict I’ll modify the module accordingly.

I already picked up the Tiamat mini so I’m definitely having them fight her avatar.

If your worried the players don't have the political skills or desires to form a coalition there's lots of NPC's that can do that for them.

For instance I use Sir Frume as a General. He gathers support in the back ground and acts as a quest giver for the party. I'm also setting up mini quests for individual players to help keep them invested in each chapter since not everyone's interested in saving the world.

Anyway I’m not worried if the party fails at something I’ll just have an NPC pick up the slack and do it for them.

That works. While some DM's might not want to share that information from the book, I think it's more important that everyone's on the same page.
