#1 gmanjkd Nov 24, 2014 22:54:54	Hello, my group is finishing up HOTDQ and we r about to begin RoT.  The 1st episode begins with the first council meeting. The book then implies that Varram the white (part 1 of episode 3) comes next followed by The sea of moving Ice (episode 2).  This is also the order presented on page 6 listed under Advancement section.  With that said on page 21 during the 1st session of the Council, it sounds as though both episodes are to be set up at the same time opening the door for the PC'S to address them in any order.  This actually sounds more interesting to me but I'm not sure if it would create issues.       Does anyone know what the intent was?  Are we supposed to run portions of episodes 1, 3, 2 in that order or is the adventure specifically designed more as a sandbox?   Thanks

#3 gregsc Dec 12, 2014 19:59:07	In an interview, the writer said that the adventure was originally written in a more sand-box style. Play testing revealed that people wanted more structure, so the adventure was reorganized to what you see now. You could probably have a very successful campaign if you bust the adventure up and make it a sand-box again.
