Houserule for grappling that still keeps the simple and fast aspect of 5e.

Reason, I want to run a stealth heist game and want guards to be taken out by stealthy players without sounding the alarm.

By taking disadvantage on your grapple attack you can impose one of the following conditions, if you are successful in the grapple:

Silenced - cannot make oral sounds

Blinded - as per condition

"Limb" Bar - loose access to limb

Choke - start choking your victim, after their con modifier rounds they gain the unconscious state.

Breaking the grapple will automatically free you of the imposed condition as well. Further successful grapple attacks can be initiated to impose even more conditions if you have enough attack actions available.

What do people think, too good?

hehe "oral". I think the Rogue'll get jealous he can't do the same with his weapons.

I think that's very interesting.  So you could sneak up on a guard, take disadvantage, but have advantage for stealth, then "take him out".  I like that a lot!

:p I was trying to be specific with the oral, remember even when oral blocked you can make other sounds...

What with taking disadvantage, I think this is an acceptable way of dealing out these circumstances. I like this a lot.
