Orcs for example were listed as Gang (2-4), Squad (11-20 plus 1 Sergeant (3rd Level) and 1 Leader (6th Level), Band (30-100 plus 150% non-combatant...)
I was wondering if there was any resourse for such information as I can't find it in the DMG or Monster Manual in 5th Ed?
If not how would you suggest setting up something like a goblin clan in a dungeon or a campaign. |

How I suggest setting up a goblin clan in a dungeon or campaign is this: decide how many goblins are present based on what you want the goblins to represent to your players and their characters. |

Something like "Goblin Boss and 4 Goblins, 400 xp, modified 800 xp; deadly level 4-, hard level 5, medium level 6-7, easy level 8+". Though this highlights a shortcoming of the encounter design guidelines; a fireball will clean up this fight if they bunch up, since goblins only have 7 hp (and are dead on a successful save). |
