| #1yrtalienAug 23, 2014 0:04:04 | So, one of my players is looking at playing a Black Dragon blooded Sorcerer in the next game, the only snag is there are so few acid oriented spells to gain the benefit of his damage type bonus (acid). Now, in 13th Age, I would just say switch the damage type (because it actually says in the game you can do that... but I haven't seen anything like that in D&D 5E... so I'm wondering how impacting do you think it would be to let there be an Acidball or Caustic (Burining) Hands...

It will have some impact, as generally fewer enemies will be immune/resistance to acid than fire (see: fiends, demons), though there are also a few more with fire vulnerability (plant types) |
