| #1daspianApr 26, 2015 14:22:19 | so i've read abit about thay and i have somewhat of a understanding of it, i am posting this here because at some poitn in my campaign (soon) my players will have to make a treacherous infilitration into this country to recover a powerful artifact to help them stop the BBEG ....who happens to be Szazz Tam himself. what sort of scenarios should i throw at them? what should they expect to see in this country besides public use of necromancy and slavery?
i imagined north korea + necromancy is what i picture.... but i guess i'm asking more detailed scenarios to throw at them? or are there any other resources out there i could look at for inspiration rather than just endlessly reading the Forgotten Realms wiki? |

My short version of Thay would be: law and order, taxes, "papers please", and slavery. |

I’ll second the Unapproachable East sourcebook. In general, it’s a good resource for some of the more remote sections of the Realms. |
