In 5e are these all considered the same damage type or seperate types?  To me I would say they are all electrical but I am not sure the rules agree.  For example, a creature immune to electrical damage is also immune to thunder and lightining?

Thanks in advance.

PHB p. 196 has the damage types desribed. Electricity is not one of them but perhaps lightning would be the one to use. The separation of types is often used for damage resistances/vulnerabilities and immunities.

Lightning would be used for electricity. Thunder would have been considered sonic damage in older editions.

This makes more sense, thanks all.  I have too many editions in my head!
