| #1WickJul 30, 2014 10:36:49 | Ok for those of you that are either running the Starter Set with player created PCs or folks just running your own 5E games, are you using the Personal Characteristics? If so how are you using them. I plan to add them to information that I collect from the PCs like passive perception. I am sure the Players Handbook will have more information about them, but just trying to get ideas. My players will be rebuilding their PCs after the PHB comes out and I want to put some emphasis on them at that time.

| #2alienuxJul 30, 2014 10:42:20 | We just finished a campaign that was started during the playtest using playtest characters that were converted to official 5E rules. In that campaign, since we were near the end, we just left out the personality traits, ideals, bonds and flaws.
However, we're starting the Lost Mines, probably sometime next week, with newly rolled characters from the 5E Basic PDF, and we're going to use them. We're going to basically use them as intended; to promote role play, to fill out character personalities, and as an incentive to get Inspiration points. |
