If you are more than comfortable travelling through familiar lands, and you are more comfortable in getting familiar with any sort of land. Unlike a ranger, you don’t have any favored terrain. Whenever you make an Intelligence, Wisdom, Strength or Dexterity check related to intuit knowledge of your current environment, you can apply half proficiency bonus to the roll, wethher you have a skill or not, at the DM discretion.
