What kind of daily EXP budget would this stat set up be able to handle? (Dark Sun question)

Hey everyone. So, I have been slowly going through my old books making a set of 5th Dark Sun conversion notes. I am pretty much done. I do, however, want to double check one detail. As of right now, I am using the following house rule:

Starting Statistics and Daily Experience Budget

1.Player characters of Athas are hardier than their counterparts in other planes of existence, but their world tends to be more brutal and dangerous as well. Instead of the normal stat array, characters start with the following stats (before any racial modifiers are applied): 16, 15, 14, 14, 12, 10. Additionally, every character gains one ability score adjustment or feat at level 1. All characters, however, have 150% of their normal daily (or weekly in the “Gritty Realism” variant of the rules) experience budget (with most encounters veering towards the hard or deadly range).

Experience budgets as presented in 5th edition are not so precise as to need adjustment for such insignifcant alteration to ability score generation.

Remember: the default rule is to roll ability scores - that means the default assumption already covers "got a bunch of high scores" as well as it can.

Advice from one DM to another: Throw out experience budgets entirely - just build encounters that fit the idea you had for their being an encounter in the first place, and always leave the players with the option for fight, avoidance, or negotiation.
