| #2AaronOfBarbariaJan 15, 2015 18:39:25 | Experience budgets as presented in 5th edition are not so precise as to need adjustment for such insignifcant alteration to ability score generation.
Remember: the default rule is to roll ability scores - that means the default assumption already covers "got a bunch of high scores" as well as it can.
Advice from one DM to another: Throw out experience budgets entirely - just build encounters that fit the idea you had for their being an encounter in the first place, and always leave the players with the option for fight, avoidance, or negotiation. |
