| #5DemoMonkeyJun 25, 2015 12:47:32 | 4 beakers full of material with the appearance, smell and taste of BBQ sauce, labelled "N", "S", "E", and "W". If poured out of the container, the substance will slowly flow in mid-air towards one of the cardinal compass direction.
An entire beaker full of human spit. It remains room temperature in any environment, and is sitting on a scrap of parchment scrawled with the word "EUREKA!"
A taxidermy bust of a halfling with a sahuagin head sowed to it, wearing a banner inscribed "Fiji" in dwarvish.
A Brass Keey 7 feet long.
A miniature carriage, surrounded by mouse droppings and pumpkin seeds.
7 balls, in increasing sizes from the size of a pea to the size of pig, of increasing colours of the prism. They float in midair from no apparent cause until one of them is touched, at which point they all fall and begin bouncing around the room.
A bottle of solution that, when rubbed on cloth, renders it invisible.
A bottle of identical solution that, when rubbed on cloth, instantly disintegrates it.
A metal banana skin that can be opened once an hour, with a hiss of steam, allowing you to withdraw a fresh banana.

And I can't tell if you're taking the micky DemoMonkey, and you made me chuckle quite a bit, or if you're implying that in your estimation, Alchemists are seriously crazy bastards. lol
Thanks for the ideas - I'm pretty sure I COULD make those happen. |

Only the GREAT ones! |

find or make some homebrew rules for radiation and see how your players handle it. I dont know about anyone else, but I think that would be fun! |
| #9theapprentice2015Jul 06, 2015 8:45:49 | @Hoprc91 - Here is my attempt at a glowing rod in a metal container - from the side and from above. (Coloured yellow to suit uranium brief.) I have made these square tiles in the Game Tile Warehouse. SA

| #13theapprentice2015Jul 07, 2015 23:50:32 | That's not a bad system - you might also add effects the longer it takes for them to heal given the increasing sickness that developes with real life radiation - to the point they may no longer be able to heal themselves or even (pending the physics/laws of the gameworld) infect others. Imagine fighting radioactive zombies or a yellow-cake soaked mummy... |
| #14theapprentice2015Jul 08, 2015 3:09:14 | How important is it to have NPC's standing behind shop fronts or stalls on tiles? Do most Game Masters just use a figure as the shop keeper, or do you require the shops, wares, etc to be visually staffed by an NPC? |
