Hey all,
We had a quick chat the other day during one of my sessions, over who would you want to be your Dungeon Master if it could be anyone that's ever lived or is currently living. Interested to see who people here would choose?
I would say mine would be...Quenten Tarantino. I feel like his screenplays/movies have amazing dialogue, interesting three-dimensional characters, great bloody fight scenes, he's also an actor so he could act out the characters he's RPing well.

Quick note - this may belong in an off-topic forum somewhere, but I supposed the same could be said for the riddle 101 thread started, and I ended up putting that to good use in one of my sessions, maybe the same could be the case for this thread.

It's not enough for me that the person is creative, he ought to know the game as well. With that in mind, I would pick Steven Erikson. He wrote my favorite fantasy series, Malazan Book of the Fallen, which was inspired by some RPGs he and his friends played. I forget which system, but he at least knows how to run RPGs.
I would choose JRR Tolkien, because I feel that most DMs don't describe the scenery well enough. What kind of grass are we standing on? Et c.
But more seriously, if I could travel back in time and play D&D with him to get a better female character in any of his books, I'd be all over that.
