#1 misterfido_dup Aug 14, 2009 22:35:00	I read somewhere that 20% should be added to the price of rituals cast for the party--after all, a Jorasco halfling who casts Raise Dead spends 500 gp, and he's not doing it for free, so 600 gp. Magic Circle might be 120 gp, Planar Portal is 6,000 gp, and so on. Was it a dream of mine? Was it someone's house rule? Was it Hellcow? Was it official text somewhere? Also, there was another house rule of Hellcow's, at least a brainstorm one, something about giving rituals to Mark-bearers automatically, or reducing the cost of learning/casting, or something--even as a second feat to give that enhancement. #2 PJammaGod Aug 15, 2009 0:12:44	I think you've accidentally misread a passage in the Eberron Campaign Guide Misterfido. Specifically I think the text block you're wondeirng about is on page 194, second paragraph block, "The Citadel of the Twelve". It's the easiest business in Stormreach to locate and use if you wish access to ritual magic. The block talks about how non Dragonmarked House members or specifically hired adventurer's may end up paying an extra 10-20% for their rituals. Hope that helps (that or I'm completely off the map :P )

See, now, I imagine in Hellcow's room there's a massive bulletin board, like one you see in a conspiracy theory story--you know the ones, where there's a picture of Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, and a note with the words "Area 51" and there's a piece of string held down by thumbtacks connecting the three--except instead of implausible conspiracy connections and photos, there are HTML links to topics and color-coded strings by subject. Things Hellcow's said ever in the history of ever. And he can navigate this web of Hellcow-words and pull out any quote or reference out of his *** every single time. Now, admittedly, this latest link was a recent one. But I've seen you do it, Hellcow--"Well, on March 18th, 2006, IIRC I said this, which somewhat disagrees with the article posted on December 28th 2007 on the Wizards website--which was luckily corrected by the author a few days later. As you can see, this ties into paragraph 2 of Secrets of Sarlona on page... well, I can't remember, it was either page 28 or 29..." The man knows his posts =P

#8 Ogiwan Aug 27, 2009 20:21:58	Fear him? I bow to the awesomeness of His Infernal Bovinity. Still, though, it makes sense to make 'marked rituals less costly to learn/perform. Maybe allow them to cast mastered rituals like they were casting them off of scrolls?
