Looking through the list, I think a significant number of them could have very strong roles in Eberron. As such, I thought I'd display the list here and see what ideas each of us would have for these abandoned PrCs.
So, have at it! |

What better way to take out an enemy spellcaster, say from Aundair, than to pelt him with arrows from out of spell range and still stay hidden? I'd think Foe Hunter would be a great PrC for Gatekeeper affliliated rangers or ranger druids. Probably with favored enemy abberation or evil outsider. Could also work for Tharashk bounty hunters who specialize in one type of prey. Oozemaster sounds like a PrC for a servant of a Daelkyr obcessed with oozes. Verdant Lord is THE Prestigue class for Warden of the Wood Druids. What better way to protect the forests than to become one with it? What better way to further your servitude to Olian than to become a tree yourself? Watch Detective is a good PrC for Deneith or Tharashk lawmen/women. Not as good a the Dragonmark specific PrC, but probably the choice for unmarked house members. Also a good PrC for NPC characters, specifically the Watch of Sharn. That's all for now, I'll have to dig out some books and read a little more in detail to get a Eberron feel for other PrC's. |

Yeah, I only pulled PrCs from the class builder books (i.e. - Sword and Fist, Defenders of the Faith, Tome and Blood, Song and Silence, and Masters of the Wild). I added them into the list. |

Nice. ![]() Windrider could be anything from a competitor in the Race of Eight Winds to a Thrane wyvern rider or an Aundair dragonhawk rider. Fang of Lolth could be switched up to a "claw of Vulkoor." Playing of the UMD requirement, it would make for an interesting story for an artificer exploring Xen'drik for ancient magic items. I suspect we'd see drow more commonly taking on this PrC for obvious reasons. Ghostwalker could be a former veteran of the Last War and Outlaw of the Crimson Road could be as well; two different results of a similar character. Oozemaster could easily be a cultist of the Dragon Below. Royal Explorers could have been a Galifar tradition that now continues among the Five Nations. I would suspect they are more common in Breland given its access to Xen'drik, but some of the other nations would still have their share of royal explorers who travel to various regions. Gladiator fits in with Stormreach's Red Ring and Sharn's own Cornerstone Arena. |

| #8skrap-sanMay 10, 2008 1:31:49 | I think my next adventure needs a couple of devoted defenders as boddyguards for the main villain :P |
| #9ChaoticGoodMay 15, 2008 0:34:05 | I had a Devoted Defender play a large role in a campaign once... The King had gone missing, the PCs were tasked with finding him by their organization. The Queen's chief bodyguard suspected that the PCs were up to no good when he caught them snooping around the castle for clues, and became their #1 antagonist. Anyhow, back on topic: The Royal Explorers could be affiliated with Morgrave University (or possibly the Library of Korranberg), traveling the world to record its secrets. Pair up a Royal Explorer and a Thunder Guide and you can travel just about anywhere with a reasonable chance of survival. You know, I just might actually consider re-statting the Lord of Blades as a modified Bane of Infidels... That PrC could also be the basis of a Valenar or Drow war-chief. |

That PrC could also be the basis of a Valenar or Drow war-chief. They'd be good for Seren Barbarians, too. Looking at some of the others, Tribal Protectors would work well for any of the monsters in Droaam, the goblinoids of Darguun, lizardfolk in Q'barra, and the orcs of the Mror Holds. |
