I've posted my evolving 4E Campaign Guide which is set in Sarlona, nearly 1,500 years before present day. By setting it in the past, you can easily explain away lack of psionics, warforged or other elements that we're waiting for WOTC to flesh out in 2009. Feel free to borrow and/or comment on.
