4E stuff in DDI

Jul 06, 2008 13:29:12 What would guys like to see pop up in the next few months?

I loved the Artificer article and would love to make one right now. It is fun to see where they may go with the class. The same goes for the Warforged article. I loved the EB KOTS conversion.

I would like to see a Planes Article and an article on how to possily handle Dragonmarks.

Jul 06, 2008 15:56:05 Rules for Dragonmarks are highest on my list. After that I'd like to see something on the Planes, and maybe a few bits and pieces of rules (paths, feats) to help build a character from one of the Five Nations.

Jul 06, 2008 17:01:38 I would most like to see dragonmarks, however I would settle for Aberrent ones - as that doesn't take away any of the thunder that the ECS would hold, but would give us a good idea on the mechanics of dragonmarks.

Also, an official write up for Kalashtar would be cool

Jul 06, 2008 22:35:25 I'd be happy if we don't get anything else. Obviously more expeditionary dispatches would be nice (I don't really care where of) but I don't want them to run out of ideas come Eberron's actual launch.

Right, what I meant was lets say they have Eberron articles from now to June and Eberron comes out in August. However they've run out of things to add to Eberron and so we don't get any Eberron articles in August, September, October or November ;)

Probably wouldn't happen, but I'd be willing to go without now to have them later if it would ;)

Jul 06, 2008 23:39:21 I'm wondering if we'll even get more. I mean, we've already gotten a race, a class, and an area, several paragon paths, and several magic items. If they keep giving us stuff, then we'll hardly even need the ECS anymore.

There used to be a thread with each of the planes fleshed out by users. I wish I could find it, but it's years old now and was made before the board switch to glemax.

Jul 10, 2008 11:41:20 I think for the first time ever we will be able to convert something from Forgotten Realms to Eberron. Technically, I would consider the Spell-Scars stolen from Eberron to begin with... but thats neither here nor there. It would probably be easy to use the Spellscars as Dragonmarks.

Next month we should get some info on Spellscars in the forgotten realms campaign guide, unless they hold that back for the players guide. If thats true I guess I really don't need to get the Campaign Guide, cause those and the Swordmage is all I want from FR.

One for Eberron, and if they want to preview the FR player's handbook, one for FR. These could be all fluff. Short articles explaining the place of the Dragonborn in those campaign settings.

A summation of the Planes in Eberron within the next month or so is high on the list.

Definitely Dragonmarks.

Depth articles like the Dragonshards are great, all around.

Expeditionary Dispatches in the same format as The Forest of Flesh are interesting. I would like to see one for The Boneyard in the Talentia Plain. Dreadhold Prison as well.

I'd love to see a Dungeon article on running The Race of The Eight Winds.

Basically I just want interesting ideas for my game. I am no longer a "Lore Junkie". Cool locales and scenarios is what I am looking for.
