So the first Epic Destiny, the Champion of Prophecy, is up now. What do you all think about it?

Some things that jump out at me. +2 to two different stats as long as one is physical and one is mental, and regaining a daily every milestone instead of an action point (Basically having a wizard's epic feat for anyone). Pretty nice.

Got to say that the immortality at the end is fairly mundane.

Interesting bit of flavor, but doesn't strike me as a very competitive Epic Destiny...

Looks pretty decent. I'm a terrible judge of ED power, though.

I'm underwhelmed by the utility.

I'm underwhelmed by the utility.

Well it depends on your group, but at epic levels you could be going for 6-10 encounters in a day. So by the end there you could be getting +6-+10 boost to one attack per an encounter.

It's not the greatest, but its not the worst either. I would say the main power lies in the +2 to 2 different stats (Good for certain types of characters). This is definitely a very situational ED IMO. You will either have a class that loves it or hates it.

That being said "Unstoppable Prophecy" is the worst ability I've ever seen.

I dislike the ED, I don't think I'm likely to use it for my own characters. It's just far too generic, both in terms of mechanics and fluff. It has no real abilities of its own, just boosting with bonuses here and there, and the immortality it grants is uninspiring - every epic PC can claim to be a pivotal part of the Prophecy, that's what epic is all about!
Oh well...

I thought this would be manipulating the prophecy or channeling its energies. Instead you're just someone marked out by the prophecy. You can get that same effect at first level by taking a out-of-race dragonmark (as only people marked out by the prophecy would ever get an out-of-race dragonmark!) In effect, fluff-wise not much point to get the epic destiny. And crunch-wise I'm not seeing anything overly special.

First thing I envisioned when I read the title was something along the lines of "Storm Dragon", but when I read it, I was less than impressed.
