#1 snarky_monkey May 13, 2008 2:08:27	When 4e is officially released in June I am planning to switch my players in our current Eberron campaign to the new system. To this purpose I decided that, instead of trying a straight conversion, I am giving my players a chance to start fresh from day one, recreating there characters at 1st level in 4e, but doing so though a campaign event that involves a premature battle between the 3 DRAGONS which literally rewrites the world, basically resetting it to a pristine, before your band made it's mark, history. I am also establishing that each character has a remnant of their former life, whether it be incomprehensible dreams of themselves before the change or even irrational attractions and fears based on the events of their prior lives and the great cataclysm that brought about the "4th World". My small request involves the 1st level Eberron group you have on your website. They have been a fun standard to the games and have become a sort of competing group to my players in the great prophecy. Is it possible that you could update them to the 4e rules some point in the near future? I understand holding back on things like Dragonmarks since they will be good bread and butter for the upcoming setting release in 2009, but anything else would be helpful. Thanks alot, even if your unable to do this, the enjoyment my players and I have gotten from your setting is more than any other we've played in D&D and Rp in general.

#3 snarky_monkey May 13, 2008 15:07:09	Thanks Joni-san, I wanted to switch to 4e, but the character development of my players was something I didn't want them to have to sacrifice, so figured this could be a good compromise. I plan on running them though their original adventures as well, but change facts and creatures and such to keep them on their toes but give them a very real feeling of Deja Vu.

I understand about the dragonmarks and will just fudge my way thought it using racial feats as you mentioned on your blog then just say the the world has finally settled into it's new reality when the official ones come out and just swap them out. Thanks so much!
