#1 KrashKow May 03, 2009 2:25:52	So i started reading The Dreaming Dark vol.1 (City of Towers) and have a little question: How the heck do you pronounce Lei? Is it "Lay" or "Lee" or something else?
#2 Nived May 03, 2009 6:18:41	Keith has a way of naming things that lead to a lot of varied pronounciations. Is Cyre 'Sear' or 'Kire' Is Breland 'bree land' or 'brel and' Personally I always thought of her as Lay, i before e ... unless it sounds like A as in neighbor or weigh kinda thing.

While PERSONALLY, I go with SEER-ee, bray-land, and LEE (as my own name is KEEth, not KAYth). But as noted earlier, I see it as a Missouri/Tomato/Louisville thing. There is no one right pronounciation; it's all regional preference.
#4 rauric May 03, 2009 6:43:28	Just like when I ran an FR game and would say the people from the south would pronounce drow as "drohh" (oh) and the northerners would call em "drow" (ow). That was just to shut up some players who though they knew the correct pronounciation and tried giving me a hard time about it. ;) Side note Keith, if you head to Cape May this year did any South Jersey gamers invite you to crash at their pad as part of your tour yet? Just curious.

There is no one right pronounciation; it's all regional preference. Well said Hallcow. I have always pronounced Cyre, KEER, Breland, Bree-land, and Lei, LEE. But as you said pronunciation varys from region to region, and even person to person. Other intresting things to pronounce: Mror Holds, Xen'Drik, Fastieth, Quori, and Wroat.
