| #1igotsmeakabobJun 15, 2008 13:29:14 | Tried using the search function, got an error.. Title says it all, do we have any idea when we'll be able to purchase the first 4th edition Eberron book? Campaign Setting, Player's Guide, whatever. Thanks. |
| #2NivedJun 15, 2008 13:34:52 | They will be released in 2009, not sure when in 2009. We know that Keith Baker, James Wyatt, and Ari Marmell (aka Mouseferatu, worked on Faiths of Eberron, and Forge of War) will be designing. |

| #4NivedJun 15, 2008 13:47:51 | A good place to keep track of what's going on, besides here would be Keith's livejournal Gloomforge. There he says what he can about 4E eberron's development and is a fantastic source of information, where he muses on topics of 4th edition Eberron (even though they aren't 'official' at this time). |
| #5igotsmeakabobJun 15, 2008 13:56:10 | Aye, I've been keeping abreast of the news in his journal for the past few weeks. I must have missed something. Thanks again. |
| #6ieattrollsforbreakfastJun 15, 2008 14:22:27 | Another good place to look is the Dragon Above's 4E page. I've been collecting quotes there (though I have a few more recent ones to add!), so if you're looking for something specific you should find it there. |
| #7igotsmeakabobJun 15, 2008 14:47:10 | Ah, well thats a new one. Thanks alot. |
| #8EdymnionJun 16, 2008 11:42:01 | Actually, do we have real confirmation that Eberron is going to be in 2009? Last I heard it was still at the "1 setting per year, and Faerun is first" level, which while the implication is that WotC's next most popular setting would come next, we didn't get actual "Yes, its in 2009". Did that change yet? |
| #9the_ubbergeekJun 16, 2008 11:53:21 | Considering that it's a bestseller, AND that it is purely a WOTC setting (not a legacy TSR one, with all that imply), it's pretty sure it's at least coming next. ASAP. |
| #10madhouseJun 16, 2008 14:11:52 | Actually, do we have real confirmation that Eberron is going to be in 2009? Although I don't recall where I read it, I do remember seeing a statement that pointed to 4th Edition Eberron books in 2009. Sadly, I can't find the article anywhere on the Wizards' site; however, Keith Baker did indicate in his Gloomforge post on June 10 that the Eberron books are slated for 2009. Some may not consider this a definitive confirmation, but considering Keith's role in developing Eberron, I'd say it's more than likely accurate (or as accurate as any release schedule for a product in development can be). Cheers! |
| #11EdymnionJun 16, 2008 17:17:04 | But no one has seen an official statement from WotC saying that Eberron is definately the 2009 setting? |
| #12ieattrollsforbreakfastJun 16, 2008 19:09:04 | But no one has seen an official statement from WotC saying that Eberron is definately the 2009 setting? They confirmed Eberron was coming in 2009 at the R&D presentation during D&DXP. Chris Sims notes in this post he's kicked off Eberron with art orders for the covers. Keith has also mentioned in a few posts that he's started writing the ECS. So yes, it's confirmed. |
