Anyone actually use the Hellcow as an NPC?

It's a running joke, there's a mythical oracle in our game that's a demonic cow.

The players routinely consult it.

Moo, baby.

Did the players have to kill Diablo, return to Rogue Encampment in Act I within the same difficulty level, and then transmute Wirt's Leg with a Tome of Town Portal in the Horadric Cube to open the portal to his realm?

Maybe they just killed The giant who has bothered him for all these years, you know, the one from the playground...

Given that Keith has written several short encounters about various Hellcows in Atlas Games' En Route series, I'll wager many Hellcows have been seen.

The Hellcow also gives Infernal Chocolate milk.

Bumping into an infernal oracle cow... it sounds quite mooronic initially, but could be quite amusing (pun!)

Not as bad as the intelligent donkey that my group ran into in our 3e game. Damn the DM for stat-ing out the "Wise Ass."

In a non-D&D game I ran into a combat donkey with a railgun once, which was kind of Badass.

We were slated to encounter the Bad Ass shortly after dealing a paraplegic colossal red dragon that happened to be insane and was caught in a collapsed church from a forgotten era. Though this may or may not have been a ruse. Couldn't tell when that guy was joking.

Hell, at one point our characters were half-jokingly replaced with doppelgangers each individually affiliated with some dark plot organization. It was so flawless that even we couldn't tell. Subsequently those doppelgangers were replaced by other doppelgangers for a similar purpose. Yeah, that DM was a hoot.

I guess my first question would be who is your DM's supplier Grug and can I get a freebie to see how strong the stuff is? ;)

Seriously that's one amusing sounding campaign. It's always good to have a DM with a sense of humour and able to make the game constantly engaging.
