Author's Notes: This adventure is written in Step Outline form.  This allows you to take the Adventure and to change it according to your own chronicles of Eberron very easily.  It's a mini-campaign, or a campaign of to itself.  The NPCs and Monsters are written in minimal notation so that you can use them with the D&D system or another system of your choice.  The Campaign is based on the Knights of the Nine expansion for Oblivion.

The Premise: The Evil Ravana has returned, this time as a Wraith tenously connected to Eberron.  Ravana is the King of Rakshasas, a lord of Evil and Pride that was defeated by the Coatls in Eberron's ancient past, and again defeated by the Knight Sir Palineal of Karrnath.  Now his agents have slain the priests of Olladra in the sleepy town of Moonwatch.  The town's peace is now disturbed by Solon the Prophet.  Solon is preaching Hellfire and Despair will befall all of Khorvaire.

The Twist: the PC who will take up the quest for the Holy Panoply of the Sovereign Host must first make a pilgrimage to a shrine devoted to each of the Soveriegn Host.  The shrines are scattered through out Khorvaire.  After the Pilgrimage the quest for the Holy Panoply begins, taking him to locations and temples around Khorvaire.

The Climax: The Hero must lead the newly formed and modern Knights of the Soveriegn Host into the Demon Wastes to do battle with Ravana and his new army of Darkness.

Backstory: The Evil Ravana was King of the Rakshasas.  His sins of Pride, Sloth, and Gluttony against the Universe was such that the Coatls arose to stop his evil ways.  They fought his army and imprisoned his generals and councilors under various parts of Eberron.  In fact, his most trusted Advisor of mystic affairs is imprisoned under Adar.  He himself was captured by dragons and coatls during the last battle in the Demon Wastes and was dismembered into seventy parts.  His body parts were spread across the face of the planet as punishment for his crimes.

However, Ravana returned when his wife Kalusya escaped imprisonment under the Demon Wastes.  She gathered up all of his body parts and put them together, resurrecting the Rakshasa lord.  Ravana, resurrected but still mortal, instigated the first few battles of the War of the Mark.  During the War of the Mark, the Karrn Knight Sir Percival of Deneith arose to defeat the Rakshasa lord once and for all.  Armed with the Holy Panoply of the Sovereign Host, he led an Army into the Demon Wastes and slew Ravana and reimprisoned Kalusya.  He returned a hero, but as the War of the Mark continued he retired and died.  His Panoply protected by the Knights of the Soveriegn Host.  Before he died, he prophesied that the evil of Ravana will return again, since Percival was unable to break the Rakshasa's ties to the Material World.

Now it's been over a Millennium.  The Knights of the Soveriegn Host has long since been disbanded and their ancient stronghold forgotten until the Last War.  The Stronghold was found again by forces of the Knights of the Emerald Claw.  In fact, necromancers came and desacrated the stronghold's mausoleum under the Chapel of the Host.  They raised the dead Knights of the Soveriegn Host as Karrnathi Skeletons and put them on the front lines during the Battle of Aryron's Hill in Cyre.  Fortunately, the spirits of the last Knights of the Soveriegn Host possessed their skeletons and broke ranks, returning to their vigil over the holy Panoply.  The warforged of Cyre, then barbarians of a most barbaric nature, routed the undead armies of Karrnath and took the Hill of Aryron.

The Skeletons returned, but some of the pieces were scattered.  One among them, Sir Accolon of Deneith, returned to the Barrow of Sir Percival to protect the Helm of Boldrei.  The rest awaited for one worthy to wear the holy cuirass of Dol Arrah.  So the Knights awaited through the Last War.  Until the year 998 YK when Ravana returned to take control of the Rakshasas of the Demon Waste.

Part I: the Prophet of the Sovereign Host
Solon d'Deneith [m. human, Scion of House Deneith, clr 7, hp 42; Frequently used skills: Knowledge: Religion, Language Rakshasa, Diplomacy; Feats of note: Major Dragonmark, Skill Focus Diplomacy] is a self-declared Prophet of the Sovereign Host, speaking for all the Gods not just one.  Solon has all the appearance of a crazy old man.  His hair is disheveled and is white as snow.  He has lines of age across his face, and his voice is old and cracking.  His beard is long and scraggly, and his clothes old and filthy.  But his eyes betray youth, beauty, and wisdom.

He is prophesying doom and damnation for all of Khorvaire and claims that Ravana has returned to wreak vengence upon the Sovereign Host and the Churches themselves.  PCs encountering him can interrupt his ravings and he will speak at length about the Massacre in the Church of Olladra saying that only one wearing the holy Panoply of the Sovereign Host can actually defeat Ravana and break his hold on Eberron and make him pass on to the Next life.

DM's Secret:
Show
Solon is actually Aureon, the God of Law and Knowledge.  Aureon has recognized the evil of Ravana and that Ravana has support from all of the Dark Six except the Traveler.  He has come down to the Realm of Mortals in mortal guise to find a champion worthy of the Gods to defeat Ravana once and for all.
