Post the things you would like to see covered in the new 4E book here. Perhaps there were things that you thought they could have improved upon or emphasized more. Post things that you have done in your campaign that are additions to the setting. This can be like a big fan brainstorming session. Plus we can all steal each others ideas if needed. ;) I want to see more on Droaam and Darguun. I just want more info than what we got in the 3E book. These two places are great places for PCs to visit or for a DM to run certain types of campaigns. I am working on adding some of my homebrew stuff in Droaam like a city run by the liches and vampires, where all forms of undead can go to escape the "prejudices" of the other civilized nations. many humans can still be found in a place like this and it is protected by many undead beings as well as living ones. If any land can have a functioning necropolis I figure Droaam could. |

At this point the books are well out of design and into the hands of editing. So there may be some changes made, but it's not going to get yanked all the way back to design. So certainly I'll pay attention to what people say, and it may influence DDI support (and if you want more on Droaam, I trust you've read the Graywall, Dolurrh's Dawn, and Forest of Flesh articles) but the core books are unlikely to be changed at this point. |

Exactly what i was going to say. Its just too late in the process for any hope of large scale changes. We can, as almighty Hellcow stated, put forward ideas for DDI articles. Honestly, I'd love to see more written about Q'Barra. There's a lot going on in Q'Barra that can, and most likely will, have a great effect on the whole of Khovaire, what with the increasing number of Riedrans coming over and setting up shop, among other things. It's one of my favorite nations but doesn't nearly have the breadth of detail and fluff that the 5 Nations and more centrally located kingdoms have. |

Again, at this point it's about editing, not design. I finished my part of the work around three months ago - WotC has a long lead time. |
| #6TyranthraxusDec 15, 2008 1:15:28 | Im not sure what the lead time is in this case, but in other threads it has been talked about as its usually anywhere from a year or more before the actual shipping date. However the topic brings up an interesting sub point. It would be interesting to see real world events (and Ill use the example of the current Financial Crisis) maybe have an echo in a setting in this case Eberron?. Eberron tends to lend itself to 'different' ideas than other fantasy settings, so it might be interesting to see someone swindle House Kundarak, and their own financial plight as it spreads out to others in the Khorvarian Continent. Of course it being Eberron, violence might eschew, nations might find their reconstruction coffers emptying fast etc. Soon the other Dragonmarked Houses might take a hit and so on. IMO, events in Eberron dont need to be all because of the Prophecy (But hey... the Prophecy may not totally ignore the financial sector), or the Lords of Dust or Cults of the Down Below. There dosnt need to be anything mystical or strange in nature to provide the challenge. Money often means people will go to extremes to survive.. they dont need to be worshipping demons to do that! (Please note, I am in no way belittiling the peole affected by the current financial crisis) In terms of what Id like to see in DDI, perhaps an article or two on the financial system in Eberron, Trade patterns etc. |

| #8oidDec 15, 2008 1:31:21 | i'm like many of you hear i just crave more information. mostly on areanal and valenar. i love the elves of eberron.:D but, more info on any of the nations out side the 5 is great. not to say i have beef with the five nations are anything, it's just they seem to get the lion's share of attetion. though i can see why, i just leave us darguun, areanal folk left in the dark and with alot of work ahead. i know as soon as i seen the valenar way back in high school i was like, ooooo. they did look like, or act like, any other elves i've seen. but still felt elven.well that's my tiraid, and glory to your blessed ancestors. |
| #9skrapsanDec 17, 2008 0:14:31 | I just want to drop by to say that I want a full adventure path like the one being released for the Core setting. It seems like this would be a great way of adding more info about the settings, especially towns and what not. You know a bit like Paizo does it with pathfinder. Oh and that article about the planes. When are we going to see that one? |
