Besides the fact that it would be an absolutely enormous undertaking to convert an entire book, and the fact that most of the content of said book is not OGL (I don't know the legal ramifications of a conversion), all you have to do is wait. 2010 is the expected year for the official 4E Ebberon books. It's not really that far away. Besides, you already have shifters and warforged in the Monster Manual. What more do you really need? |

| #5MrCelsiusFeb 28, 2009 23:30:32 | You're in luck! I know a guy who's working on this very project. Keep an eye on his blog if you want to know when it's finished, but I'll take a shot in the dark and guess that it'll be ready by July. There's a chance he might be planning on charging for it, though. :D |

| #7scarvesMar 01, 2009 8:49:53 | Don't forget that Doppelgangers are playable in lieu of Changelings now too. |
| #8koukMar 01, 2009 13:44:03 | I believe the large part of that book is setting information, which is good regardless of edition. For what it's worth, Warforged have had a Dragon article making them fully playable races. Gnomes and (probably?) Shifters will be detailed in the Player's Handbook 2 coming out later this month. Drow are in the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide, and also a Dragon article expands their options further. Changelings can use the Doppelganger racial entry in the Monster Manual (though they won't quite be up to snuff as PCs, you might consider giving them extra starting languages and powers similar to in Races of Eberron). Same for Hobgoblins in the Monster Manual. And of course, Humans, Elves and Half-Elves are in the PHB 1. The only ones left out are the Kalashtar. |
| #9unknowncorrespondent_dupMar 01, 2009 20:49:08 | The only ones left out are the Kalashtar. There is speculation that the Devas from PHB2 could be refluffed for Kalashtar, although you may need to wait for the Psi power source to finish the job. |

I considered that as well, as their backstory is now very similar in concept. But still I doubt the racial power or any supporting feats would thematically match the Kalashtar much, and not really capture the Kalashtar cultural situation. Probably not terribly hard to houserule to fit though, maybe changing some skill bonuses, or powers to different damage types etc. |
| #11DwarfFighterMar 02, 2009 2:06:17 | Can some change Races of Ebberon from 3.5 to 4e for me? I need these for 3.5 game -DF |
