The obvious thing is to include an Adolescence in the Eldeen Reeches and an adulthood spent at the Twelve in Korth. This would allow this Warlock a lesser operative of the institute. However what can the a Warlock really do for/benefit from a magical University? I'm missing some story options for this Character. Can someone help me on this? |

Taking the feat that allows a character to perform rituals could also be explained by a stint at university. As to what they bring to such an organization... a warlock's first-hand experience with otherworldly power sources is surely of interest to scholars. The knowledge that becomes Arcana and History has to come from somewhere via somebody before it can go into the text books! |

Unless your character MUST be an operative of the Twelve, of course. I'm not sure, I haven't seen the Eberron translation of Keep on the Shadowfell yet. Even so, an Arcanix-trained mage could just as easily been recruited by the rival academy at Korth, which would help ease the Eldeen Reaches-to-Karrnath transition in your character's background story. |
