He feels a tug to complete some purpose he hasn't figured out yet. Elf/Monk: An unmarked son of Phiarlan has master many dance forms, and has proven just as duitiful and useful agent as his marked twin sister. Minotaur/Runepriest: DOn't have a story yet but I want to play this combo so much. |

Now that we have the monk class back, such practitioners are a little easier to portray. Changelings also have a reputation for mind reading powers, a legacy of the doppelganger's ESP ability in earlier editions; taking the psion class can represent a changeling who has decided to concentrate on developing those talents. The most obvious story for minotaur characters in Eberron is a background as Droaamite mercenaries under contract with House Deneith or House Tharashk. A less obvious but more intriguing possibility (to me) is that some civilized minotaur tribes hail from the war mazes of Ohr Kaluun in Sarlona, where they served the corrupt wizards (civilized doesn't always mean nicer). |

This is a throwback to many detectives who travel around the world and receive martial arts training: The Shadow, Batman, The Question, among others. With Half-Elves potentially receiving the option to boost Wisdom at creation, this becomes more viable. |

Sounds like he sailed to Sarlona and learned from the monasteries hidden in the mountains of Adar to me. (Where humans and kalashtar practice all sorts of psionic powers, including training monks. Perfect fit.) |
