A focus item which lets bearers of the Mark of Shadows (minor image) use mirage arcana, or something similar. I was thinking this would mainly be used in Phiarlan theatres to provide the stage sets, so this could be quite bulky. A focus item that allows bearers of the Mark of Shadows (darkness) to use this power with reach. I guess this would work similar to a metamagic rod with the Reach Spell feat? A focus item which allows a bearer of the Mark of Shadows (disguise self) to shift through innumerable faces almost constantly, and speak with several voices at once... that's basically how I would like Hydra, the representative of the Serpentine Table, to appear. This item should ideally bear a strong curse to prevent it from being abused by those not given it by the Serpentine Table for that specific mission. A focus item which allows the shadow conjuration power of the Mark of Shadows to become more 'real', as by the Shadowcraft Mage ability. Many thanks for any help! |

As for how to price them, price them like normal wondrous items and then give them a 15% discount for having a feat requirement? With at least 50% of the gold being siberys shards ofc! |

Should I base the "Hydra" item of a regular hat of disguise? At a 15% discount for the feat requirement (and the facts that it's unavailable outside of a Serpentine Table base and earns you the close attention of a Phiarlan wetwork team of you somehow do manage to acquire it without the Table' consent), that would work. I'm having more trouble with the last one, though - making shadow conjuration more real. I wouldn't know how to price this, either; I only know the power as a class feature. Transforming it into shades seems a bit of an overkill... |
